We are 90 minutes South of Sequoia National Park and 45 minutes West of Balch Park, home of the largest trees in the world. This is the perfect house for a large group, 5 Bedrooms, 4 baths, (3 of the bedrooms are suites with private baths) and lots of outdoor areas to enjoy. The home sleeps 10 comfortably but can accommodate more, perfect for large groups, weddings, reunions or family vacations. Our home is on the 13'th fairway right across the street from the River Island Country Club clubhouse. It has a private pool, fenced for safety and is ready for your group. Enjoy Bocce ball, Corn Hole, tons of board games and 2 BBQs (Gas & deep pit charcoal). We have HD Direct TV with most movie channels and in every room a Sonos music system with Pandora, XM, Spotify and other music services. We just built a wonderful game room with Pool table, Ping Pong, Darts guitars and plenty of other fun stuff. This is a large air conditioned room to hang out or just unwind and relax. It has become the favorite place in the house with our guests. The entire house was recently insulated and a new A/C unit installed so the house will stay at your preferred temperature. The kitchen has a large Fridge/Freezer with an ice maker and a second one in the game room, there is plenty of space for all of your group's food and drink. We have designed the outdoor living areas to take advantage of the perfect Springville weather. It is a wonderful house for your large group. Preferred tee times are available for our guests. We located in the foothills of the Sierra mountains so it is a short drive to see the largest trees in the world or a fun day of exploring the Tule river. You can even see a few giant Sequoias from the back yard. Springville is known for their friendly people and incredible access to nature. It is a place you will want to visit again after experiencing it for the first time.

Country home on five acres with awesome views of Success Valley and the surrounding countryside. Located in the foothills of the Sierra, 20 minutes to the gateway of the Sequoia National Monument. The area is quiet and isolated, perfect for relaxing! And, the sunsets are absolutely amazing! For birders, all sorts to look at, and too many to count! And, for star gazers, the night sky is filled with shining stars!

Our Ranch-Resort has all the amenities you want. Swimming, fishing, hiking, pool, all on our property. Balch park has great sequoia's, horse back riding, fishing, hiking. Balch Park and the Sequoias are less than an hour away. Balch Park was supposed to be the entrance but a tree fell down and they opened the other side up instead. It is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking to see those huge Sequoia's. Hafuma Ranch is a 12 acre ranch that has the best views of the valley. Everyone that comes to the Ranch has a great time whether you are 5 or 95. You won't want to leave. Our ranch home is comfortable and easy with a lot or nothing to do. The game room is below the house as shown in the picture. There are 2 ways to get to the game room;the outside stairs or from the spiral stair case and tunnel. The game room has a pool table, bar set up, pull out sofa's, Satelite TV and jacuzzi. Grilling can be done inside the game room. Swimming, fishing ,archery, paddle tennis, billiards and swimming with an indoor/outdoor hot jacuzzi any time of the year. The pool has a swim up bar. A great way and place to relax. Golf and Tennis are a 5 minute drive. We have activities or sit back and relax and do nothing but enjoy the views. 3 bedrooms and a game room. We sleep up to 10 and more if necessary. Hafuma is great for family reunions or Business retreats. We are less than an hour up the hill to the beautiful sequoia's.

Newly renovated ranch home located in the rolling hills of Springville California. This four bedroom 2 1/2 bath home has spectacular views of the Sierra mountains, small lakes to swim and fish in, citrus groves and hills with hiking trails and horses. You are not just renting a beautiful home but over 200 acres of ranch property to enjoy and explore. Enjoy the views from every room and the large wooden deck which looks over the tops of the orange trees. On cool winter nights warm yourself by the large rock fireplace. On hot summer days cool down by swimming in the lake and the house has ample air conditioning. Visit the town of Springville (just one mile away) which is a quaint little country town nestled in a small valley at the base of mountain peaks that reach to over 10,000 feet. Drive to the giant sequoia trees at Balch Park, just one hour away. During most of the year you can pick fresh fruit from the citrus trees, oranges, grapefruit and lemons. Hiking the hills next to the house and you can feed carrots to the horses that rome it. Enjoy the fresh air, serenity, quiet and beauty. Take a break from TVs but it does have high speed wi-fi. Farm house has a large sunken living room with large windows with mountain views and a connected dining room, large kitchen with new appliances and attached family area with another table for playing cards or eating meals, all with spectacular mountain views. In addition, the garage was transformed to a game room in 2015 with a quality pool table, darts and air hockey. It's a great place to play.

Cozy custom cottage on a hobby farm with horse facilities. Come enjoy a relaxing getaway overlooking the lush green pastures with a gorgeous view of the snow capped Sierras. Each room has its own vanity with both bathrooms being accessible through the shared hallway. A queen bed in one room and two single beds in the second provide ample comfort for up to 4 guests. Outside a comfortable patio with barbecue and patio furniture is a great place to relax. We have a 6 stall horse barn so your horses can stay in comfort.

Though the home has been a part of downtown Springville for over 100 years this is a very comfortable two bedroom, two bath home. One bathroom has a vintage soaking tub and the other bathroom has a shower. The over-sized living room has a sitting area, TV viewing area and a game table. There is a separate dining area off of the kitchen. Springville is on the road to the famous Giant Sequoia National Monument. We just spent 17 days at the cabin, really enjoyed our time there and did the following upgrades! New air cooler, all new dual pane vinyl windows and sliding glass door on the main floor, new laminate flooring in the main floor bedroom and the living/dining room, new bear proof trash container outside, new insulated door downstairs, refinished the deck and railing, new LED outside lighting on the driveway, new 43" 4K TV and 4K DVD player, moved the existing 32" TV and DVD player upstairs and added more movies.

There is SNOW in the area! This house sits on a hill in Pierpoint, one hour East of Porterville, California U.S.A. on highway 190. The road is winding for about 30 minutes past Springville. The elevation is 4,500 feet therefore it is recommended you drive in daylight if it's your first time visiting. The home is surrounded by redwoods and a spectacular view of Slate Mountain, elevation at 9,302 ft. Slate Mountain is part of the Great Divide in the Sequoia Narional Forest, great area for serious hikers. You can find walking trails going East on highway 190. There are trails in Quaking Aspen Campground, and Ponderosa. Past Ponderosa there is a trail that takes you to Dome Rock which offers a beautiful sight of Needles Rock and the Western Divide. The Trail of the 100 Giants is about 46 minutes east of Ponderosa, there you find the amazing Giant Redwood Sequoias trees. This mountain home also offers total relaxation. Sit, visit, play board games and relax in the large living room, dinning room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms ( 2-King, 1-Q, 5-Single), loft, 3 1/2 baths, propane barbecue, WiFi and Dish TV of this home. Also fill up your gas tank and buy any food or supplies that you need before you leave Springville. Across the street from this home you will find the Pierpoint Lodge Restaurant. They have a bar and music on the weekend. Two miles East on highway 190 you can dine at Camp Nelson Lodge and find a small store. Nestled on a forested hillside, this cabin is cozy and quaint with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath on the main floor with living, dining and kitchen areas and a wood burning stove with floor furnace, and a flat screen TV for viewing DVDs. Stairway outside leads you to another large bedroom and bathroom downstairs, with its own television for viewing DVDs, and a forced air floor furnace to keep you warm. The wrap around deck has several sitting areas with a picnic table & benches, a large outdoor firepit, as well as a Weber charcoal barbecue. The cabin is within walking distance to the Pierpoint Springs Resort, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner, and a bar with televisions for watching sports, a separate pool table room and a dartboard. It also has a small general store and a gift shop. Less than 1/2 mile up Highway 190 is Camp Nelson, a small historic town that is charming and classic, with beautiful views of Slate Mountain. You can sit on the deck at Nelson's Tavern and have breakfast or lunch and take in the breathtaking views that surround Camp Nelson. The historic Camp Nelson Lodge, originally built in 1901, is located across the street and is a beautiful site to behold.

This cabin is located on a secluded cul-de-sac road in Camp Nelson in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. We are located 3.5 hours away from the Sequoia National Park but we have beautiful Giant Sequoia Groves all around us within 1 mile from Camp Nelson at Belknap Campground to Trail of 100 Giants 40 minutes away. This cabin is more like a home and is spacious with 3 bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size log framed bed, lots of closet space & a master full-size bath with double sinks. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and have queen-size beds in each room. All bedrooms have television. Their is also a large roomy laundry room upstairs. Downstairs has a huge open airy kitchen with lots of light, a large dining room, and a large living room with big screen TV and a full-size futon bed and sitting area. There is also a wonderful screened-in porch with ample sitting, dining or sleeping area for air mattresses. Outside boasts a lovely patio deck covered in a canopy of trees and a propane barbecue. This cabin now has wifi available.

She was 7 1/2 months pregnant and not feeling well so went to bed early. She woke us at 3AM in labor. Our 9th Grandbaby was born in the cabin at 335AM. How exciting and special!!

Located in the Sequoia National Forest, Nara Lodge is a 2,262 sq ft home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a game room that includes a pool table, ping pong table, record player, and records. There are TVs in every room, central heat in the main cabin, new furnishings, plenty of wildlife, and enough beds to comfortably accommodate 11. We are located less than a mile from the Camp Nelson Meadow, the Camp Nelson General Store, Pierpoint Bar & Grill, the Camp Nelson Conservancy, and Nelson Falls RV Park. Nara Lodge is named after the city of Nara, Japan and just like in Nara, Japan we consider the deer here to be sacred. They are free to roam the grounds and they take full advantage of that opportunity. It is not unusual to wake up to deer in the yard or to go to bed with them in the yard. We have plenty of wildlife as the forest is our backyard. There is a deck attached in the front of the house that faces Slate Mountain and one in the back that will let you escape into nature. There is a propane fire pit on the deck for your use. In addition to the deck, there's plenty of flat ground around the property to enjoy outdoor activities, nature at its best, and spectacular views of Slate Mountain. All rooms are located a half floor up and the front entry is up one flight of stairs. The master bedroom, the “Slate Room,” has a king bed and a ¾ bath attached. Next to the master bedroom is the “Bear Room” which has three twin beds. The “Deer Room” is the third room which has a queen bed and faces the side yard the deer use daily. The living room has a lounge couch that turns into a full size bed and the “Game Room” has a large sectional with a full size pullout bed. The second bathroom is a ¾ bath, has a washer and dryer, is located on the ground level, and has a door leading directly outside. The bathrooms are stocked with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and washrags. All of the bedrooms have TVs with YouTubeTV, Hulu, and Netflix. Streaming services are also available on the living room and game room TVs. The dining room has seating for 8 with an expandable table that seats up to 10. There are place settings and utensils for 8 or for 12 upon request. In addition, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, a blender, mixing bowls, baking dishes, cookie sheets, cooking utensils, a microwave, cutting boards, knives, a toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker that makes single cups and/or pots of coffee. We hope you love and enjoy our new cabin as much as we do!

Cute little cabin to fulfill your mountain dreams! One bedroom down stairs with a king bed also a loft upstairs with a queen bed. There is a wood burning fireplace downstairs for heating and fans throughout for cooling. The kitchen is fully furnished as is the bathroom with toiletries. We do ask that you wash any used dishes before your departure. Out the front door you will find a very large deck with a table and chairs for relaxing eating or playing games. Very Rustic Summer place to relax!!

Fort Beatty is a very special getaway. The view of the mountains are truly spectacular. A large family of deer come through the property twice a day! The Fort also offers a separate suite (The Bunkhouse) that sleeps 4. The Bunkhouse is ONLY available to the guests renting the main part of the Fort. This includes bunkbeds and a sofa bed/futon, table with 4 chairs, flat screen tv, DVD player and internet. There is a full bath and a kitchenette with Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, sink and refrigerator. The rental of the bunkhouse is $100 per night and $100 cleaning fee. (Sanitized after each guests) There are many trails for hiking. Several groves of Giant Sequoias surround this area. The closest grove is located 1 mile away at Belknap Campground and the Trail of 100 Giants is only 40 minutes up Highway 190. Maps will be available for you to browse. Fort Beatty looks like a real fort. Built with local wood from pine, redwood and cedar. Views of the mountains are available from every window. Mountain quail, Acorn woodpeckers, Redtailed Hawks, Eagles, and many wild birds can be seen from the main floor window. The Tule River flows through nearby and trout are abundant seasonally. Waterfalls and wildflowers are gorgeous! Also fishing for trout in the spring and early summer. During the summer months swimming in the Tule River is so refreshing! Watch the snow falling outside the large picture window, while curled up in front of the fireplace. Sleds and toboggans are available for playing in the meadow. Year round the mountains will please the eye and nurture the soul. You have to see it to believe it! Pets are part of your family and we are happy to host them too! Just bring their essentials and be the responsible owners that you are! The breezeway entrance is gated at both the front and back.

This beautiful cabin awaits your arrival! Located in the heart of Camp Nelson, it has breathtaking views of Slate Mountain and the surrounding National Forest from the back deck. The cabin is located within walking distance to the Nelson Meadow, the John Nelson Conservancy Building displaying history of the area, Camp Nelson General Store and Nelson's Tavern. This house accommodates 6 people comfortably, but also has a queen-size sofa bed in the living room that sleeps 2 more people . The main level of the house has a spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom that contains a full-size murphy bed. 2 wall furnaces and a woodburning stove provide more than enough heat. Upstairs is one large open room with 2 queen beds and a bathroom, with another wall furnace to heat the upstairs. There is a washer and dryer on site for your use. This cabin is dog friendly, but please no cats.

Quiet, secluded 3 bedroom, 1 full bath cabin with a view of Slate Mountain. It has a large living room with used brick fireplace, open kitchen to the dining room and living room for interaction with guests while preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a large covered front porch and a large side deck open yet very secluded for barbecuing with access to the kitchen. One bedroom has a queen size bed, another one has a full-size bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a full-size sofa bed in the living room in front of the fireplace. The cabin is pet friendly. Forest Drive is located across the street from the Camp Nelson Fire Station and the cabin is within walking distance of the Camp Nelson General Store and Nelson's Tavern, a great place to enjoy breakfast or lunch, and on some nights dinner is also available.

Welcome to Sequoia Meadows! Sequestered among towering cedar trees are three connected cabins, each with their own entrances, bathrooms, patios and one has a complete kitchen. There are picnic tables for outdoor dining and a family of deer live in the neighborhood. Located on 4 1/2 acres of private land with a bucolic grass meadows, a year round stream and spectacular mountain views. The cabins date back to 1949 but were recently completely renovated. Cabin 3 (Alpina) has a king bed, TV/DVD, seating area, kitchen, full bathroom with bathtub/shower and private patio. Cabin 2 (Belvedere) has a queen bed, TV with Apple TV, dining room that seats six over looking the forest, full bathroom with bathtub/shower and patio. Cabin 1 (Clairmont) has a queen bed, TV/DVD, mini-refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, full bathroom with bathtub/shower, seating area and patio. It is a 3 minute walk from the property to the center of Camp Nelson, The Camp Nelson General Store (basic food supplies, beverages, ice), the John M. Nelson Meadow, historical museum, laundromat, and the Slate Mountain Saloon (currently closed because of Covid). Pierpoint Springs Resort is a five minute drive from the property and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a small store with basic food supplies and other convenience store selections. Gas can be purchased from behind the Camp Nelson General Store. There are hiking trails near the property such as the Camp Nelson Trail which will take you to the giant sequoia groves, across streams and along a well defined trail on a relatively easy hike. There is fishing along the Tule River, horseback riding and in the winter cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and sledding. Please note that only the entire property is rented (the cabins cannot be rented separately)

There is no cell phone coverage in Springville and Camp Nelson, although ATT covers through Springville. For Winter--The home is equipped with a fireplace, heating, and space heaters (which work remarkably well). Turn the space heaters on high for one hour with the bedroom doors closed and the rooms will be very heated. Mountain Favorites: The Trail of 100 Giants-- This is a very peaceful, easy well-maintained trail around some of the largest trees on the mountain. I suggest you take water bottles, as the difference is altitude is noticeable. Dome Rock-- Although you can park on the turn off and hike your way in, I prefer to take the road all the way to the final parking area to the rock. You are then just a few steps away from the rock, which takes you to the rock. The views are spectacular. Nelson Trail-- Though not an extremely difficult trail, this trail is a bit challenging. It is absolutely beautiful though. The entire trail takes the travelers over the creek in several spots, which requires balance as they are asked to walk over narrow passages. I prefer taking the trail from the bottom up and just going as far as I’m willing to go. There are some spectacular spots along the creek where you can stop and take in the sights or have a snack. To Access the bottom of this trail, take Nelson Drive past the Belknap Campground until the road dead ends. You access the trail closest to the last house straight ahead. You’lll know you have the right spot when you see the log you may cross across the creek puddles. Crossing by log is optional.
